About Us
South Fur Lands was first published in 1995 by the creative
team of Simon Raboczi, Marko Laine, and Jason Gaffney. The June 2005 edition
is the thirty seventh issue and marks the tenth anniversary of Australia's premier
furry magazine, with contributors from Australia, New Zealand, and
around the world.
These days, South Fur Lands is published by the Chakat's
Den under the auspices of Bernard Doove a.k.a. Chakat Goldfur.
South Fur Lands has two publications to its name - the
standard, high quality zine full of M-rated anthropomorphic
content, and the Sex and Violence adults-only annual.
The SFL website is hosted by furry.org.au
through the efforts of Ch'marr, who also runs
the VCL furry archive. The website itself was designed by
Silverblue and
maintained by Goldfur.
