Cleopatra feeding on a day old chick. Lone Pine were honest enough to feed her in front of an audience, some of whom must have been squeamish, but the chicks were already dead when they were thrown to her.

You will note from these shots that Tasmanian devils tend to compete with each other for food, even when there is plenty available. In spite of their fearsome reputation, Tasmanian devils are scavengers which often feed on roadkill found on the sides of roads in Tasmania. Unfortunately, this means they themselves become roadkill. If you are holidaying in Tasmania, you should always try to move any roadkill you find off the side of the road to help protect these and other endangered animals which are extinct on the mainland. It's not much fun doing this, but it is worthwhile.
