ZECORA

Zecora is a zebra mare who has made her home in the depths of the Everfree Forest. She is a very skilled potion maker who, among other things, developed an antidote for the effects of the poison joke flower. While feared at first when she first visited Ponyville, she is now known as the source of many useful potions and remedies which are her stock in trade at the Ponyville market.

Zecora became known to Mark Wells after he nearly was killed in a flight accident and she treated him for altitude sickness. She has since become a valuable ally in Mark's efforts to protect Equestria.

Zecora has a counterpart in the anthro universe.
