VECTRIX a.k.a. BUTTERFLY SKY

Vectrix is a Companion Class Canterlot Changeling. This kind of changeling is the offspring of Queen Chrysalis and Prince Mark Wells. They resemble ponies more closely than any other kind of changeling, and do not have any of the characteristic voids in their limbs and wings. In addition, the companion class type can form permanent inseperable bonds with another being with whom they make an ideal personality match.

Vectrix started as typical male changeling serving time as a Royal Guard until one day he was irresistibly attracted to a human visiting Prince Wells' office. Chrysalis assigned Vectrix to Caleb Awad to be his minder while in Canterlot, but with the understanding that he was showing signs of having found his true Companion.

Vectrix struck up a friendship with Caleb and his mare friend, Willow Branch and they hit it off immediately. He spent as much time with Caleb as possible in order to grow the bond between them. He took the role of Administrator of Caleb's welding school in the anthro mare form named "Sky" for this reason. Eventually, Caleb conceded that they were Companions and changeling magic turned Vectrix's natural form from a male quadruped to a female anthro which is sexually compatible with Caleb. She usually spends her days as the anthro earth pony mare, Sky, that Caleb particularly likes and fits in best in their community.

Vectrix will occasionally take other forms as needed or desired such as her human form, Victoria "Vicky" Channing, or unicorn stallion, Vexing "Vex" Conundrum. However, her preferred quadupedal pony form is the pegasus mare who is called "Butterfly".

Vectrix bore Caleb a son whom they named Tranquil Boon.
