ROYAL HERDMATES

In the pursuit of Starlight Glimmer through time, Twilight Sparkle and Mark Wells encountered an alternate universe where Shining Armor, Cadence, and Chrysalis were a loving threesome. Unlike Mark's Prince Shining Armor and Princess Cadance, those two had been firm friends with their version of Chrysalis at a Canterlot school, and that relationship grew until he proposed to both. The three have been happily married for many years and both mares have had foals by him.

As Mark's exploration of the multiverse continues, he will discover that this particular relationship is replicated in many forms including anthro. It is Mark's theory that the Chrysalis variants throughout the multiverse are frequently attracted to the Alicorn of Love, resulting varying degrees of friendship and attraction. As for Cady and Shiny – he is yet to find one without the other.
