PEARL BELLE

Pearl is an anthro unicorn mare. She is the daughter of Rarity Belle and Prince Mark Wells. She was unintentionally conceived while both her parents were on holiday in the anthro world and had taken on anthro forms through the portal's compatibility spell. Unlike normal ponies, anthro ponies don't go into heat, but have a human-like fertility cycle, and Rarity was in estrus at the time.

While the pregnancy was a surprise, the fact that their daughter was born as an anthro despite her mother resuming quadrupedal form immediately after conceiving was an even bigger shock. However, she was much loved anyway, and she grew up to be a beautiful buxom mare. Mark Wells opened up full relations with anthro Equestria in order to promote interactions between the worlds and normalize the appearance of anthros within the community. This helped make Pearl's unusual form be accepted among the general populace who had become used to seeing the bipedal ponies.

Pearl excels at self-levitation and can fly for quite long periods without excessive strain. Since childhood, she had read comics brought from Earth by her Uncle Phil and had fallen in love with the female superheroes. She asked her mother to make costumes for her and she is almost always in one of the many outfits that Rarity has lovingly designed for her.

Pearl's interest in comics bloomed into a passion for the growing fandom, and she organized a successful convention despite her youth.
