DUKE BLUEBLOOD

Bluebood is a unicorn noble stallion with a hereditary title of prince, but actually a duke. Because he was causing problems for Princess Trixie, she sent him away to Prance with the task of surveying every winery there.

Years later, he returned unexpectedly. Surprised to find that Prince Mark Wells was on the throne, the drunken stallion threatened him, only to be overpowered and thrown into the dungeon. After sobering up and being released, he returned to the throne room for a proper formal presentation. Then he revealed that he had returned early to introduce his new wife, Duchess Vigne Dorée.

Although self-interest still guided Blueblood's actions, he nevertheless proved useful to the Triarchy in using his status to get the nobles to cooperate more fully with their rulers, especially in the fight against the malevolent Grogar.
