Hoof-loose Publications is proud to present: Herd Mentality, the centaur fanzine!
Herd Mentality is a fan magazine (often called a fanzine) that specializes in bringing art, writing and other creations of a centaur nature to the centaur community. Herd Mentality is NOT just limited to the "classic" Greek definition of half-humanoid half-horse. We're felines, canines, equines, lapines, lupines, rodents and any other 'tauroid ya can think of. (If you can think of any I missed, feel free to let me know >:-)
Herd Mentality is published on a roughly quarterly basis, with the occasional "bonus" issue thrown in, if time and available material warrents it. Back issues are nearly always available; check the Ordering Information link below.
The format of the magazine is an 8.5" by 11" full-sheet book, on greyscale laser printer. If anyone feels generous enough to donate funds to get a colour laser printer, I may someday start adding colour covers/centaurfolds.
Anytaur interested in contributing art, stories, poems, random blather, etc., by all means send it my way. I can open Word 6.0-97 documents, PNG, TIFF, JPEG, GIF and Photoshop images and can read really bad hand-writing. I'll even take stuff submitted by post, for y'all without means to get it to me digitally.
Very important: PLEASE do NOT send me any original material; send me a good copy, but not originals. I do not want to be the cause of the destruction of the only copy of your pride and joy, and you don't want me to either, I hope!
Any questions. send me e-mail at aatheus@virtualhermit.net
: Herd Mentality is still in publication! There has been some confusion about the publication of issues. Only the adults-only issues have ceased publication; the general audience issues are still being... issued. Sorry about the confusion!

By the way... Hoof-Loose Publications is not a legal entity. It is a pseudonym for the one-man hobby that Aatheus calls a magazine >:-)
