STORY
The comic features anthromorphics aka Furrys (the main reason i like it so much), humor, adventure and an insterting love story between a school girl and a kawaii (cute) dog-demon ^_^ The Manga was recently made into an anime series as well, and is currently showing in Japan - but we will have to wait until its released on video here in Australia.

The Story of 'Inu-yasha' is set in two time periods, modern-day and fedual japan, when a school-girl Kagome falls down a well, she finds herself back in the past, after being attacked by demons, (including Inu-yasha himself before he is placed under a spell) they now quest together to find missing shards of the Shikon jewel. - Joining them on there quest are a fox-spirt (kitsune)  a monk with a cursed hand and a demon-hunter  together they look for Shards of the jewel, while others try to stop them including Inu's full-demon brother. All in all - its an exicting series, with a bit of adventure, comedy and a love triangle between Kagome, Inu-yasha and Kikyo

INU-YASHA

Half Dog-Demon, half Human, Inu-yasha was 'killed' by Kikyo and was pinned to a tree for 50 years, 
Until Kagome set him free, tends to be very hot-tempered at times, but he is under a spell that controls him by 
the prayer beads around his neck Inu is my favorite character in the series, and its easy to see why! hes so kawaii, 
even if he is hot-headed - he undergoes alot of changes later

KAGOME

A Schoolgirl from the Future, who fell into the past, 
thru the bone-eaters well - She had the Shikon jewel hidden in her body, until it was shattered - now she has teamed up 
with Inu-yasha to find the shardshow would you feel, if you got dragged back in time, 
and had to team up with a boy with dog ears?
KIKYO

The Priestess who 'Killed' Inu-yasha and was later killed herself, she was brought back to life, 
but its hard to tell, if she still wants to kill Inu-yasha or is still in love with him? Kikyo has it all, beauty, charm, 
to bad shes a walking corpse-the re-occuring flashback, of getting stuck to that tree, must be annoying Inu by now
MIROKU

A young monk, who has a void in his hand, that can suck just about anything in to it! (even horses) 
Only thing is he needs to find someone to have his child or else he well die, as the void well eventually swallow him - 
Miroku is a hunk ^_^ for a monk hes dang sexy - to bad noone seems to want to have his child- cause he's a jerk!
SHIPPO

A young Fox-demon (kitsune) who can transform into any shape, as long as he has a leaf on his head - 
he loves to torment Inu-yasha and can be very cheeky at times Shippo is to cute! i just want to hug him :D
SANGO

A Demon hunter - she is mainly concered more about her younger brother - and
isn't really to fond of Inuyasha - theres seems to be sort of a relationship between her and Miroku - but i wouldn't bet on it - 
she also has a 2 tailed cat called Kiarara - who morphs into a huge flying cat  ( who makes squeaky noises :D)
SESSHOMARU

Inu-yasha's Full demon half-brother Sesshomaru hates inu, and is only out to kill him, or try to claim his sword
The Demon you love to hate! - don't get me wrong, Sess is neato in his own way - and hes also a hunk ^_^
